According to SBM Group, the Singapore-based company began its journey in 2007. Today, the group operates across a range of sectors, including marine, offshore, shipbuilding, ship repair, and oil and gas engineering, with several affiliated companies under its umbrella.

The Guest of Honour at the event was S. M. Abdullah Al Mamun, Counsellor (Labour & Welfare) at the High Commission of Bangladesh in Singapore.

In his address, he said, “Bangladeshi workers living abroad play a vital role not only in supporting their families but also in contributing to the country’s economy. Through their skills, hard work and integrity, they are helping enhance Bangladesh’s image on the international stage.
